In a moment of well-deserved recognition, Deputy Chief State Attorney Investigator Deborah Reith was honored as a 2025 Officer of the Year nominee during Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida’s Annual Award Banquet, held Thursday evening at the iconic Daytona International Speedway.
Reith, who has dedicated an extraordinary 34 years to the State Attorney’s Office, was celebrated for her unwavering commitment to justice, her leadership in complex investigations, and her lasting impact on public safety throughout the region.
The event drew a strong show of support, including State Attorney R.J. Larizza, members of the office staff, and Reith’s son, all present to witness the tribute to her decades of service. The award was formally presented by Assistant State Attorney Spencer Hathaway, who also serves as the Immediate Past President of Crime Stoppers.
