The Museum of Arts & Sciences (MOAS) came alive today with the joyful sounds of storytelling, laughter, and learning as more than 200 children and their families gathered for Storytime at the Museum, a cherished monthly tradition that continues to foster imagination and literacy in the Daytona Beach community.
Held in the vibrant Children’s Museum wing, the event featured animated readings led by the ever-popular Shari, whose dynamic storytelling style and heartfelt connection with young audiences made the morning truly memorable. Her performance drew smiles, giggles, and wide-eyed wonder from children of all ages.
“Shari did a wonderful job!” one parent shared. “She has a gift for making stories leap off the page and into the hearts of the kids.”
The museum’s monthly Storytime at the Museum series is designed to create a welcoming space for families to explore the joy of reading together. With themes that rotate each month, the program blends education and entertainment, offering children a chance to engage with books in a hands-on, interactive environment.
